Deco set for swift return

Portugal are confident Chelsea midfielder Deco will be fit for international duty on Saturday. Carlos Queiroz's men face a crunch 2010 World Cup qualifier this weekend as they look to get back on track on the road to South Africa. They had looked set to be without the services of Deco after the midfielder aggravated a long-standing hamstring problem in Chelsea's recent clash with Manchester City. Blues boss Guus Hiddink had even suggested in the aftermath of that game that the former Barcelona man could miss the rest of the season. However, the injury has proved to be less severe than first thought and Deco now looks set to make his return to action in the international arena. "There is a very good chance he will be able to play against Sweden," Portugal's doctor Henrique Jones told Aftonbladet. "He feels good after the training he has done and it looks really promising that he will be fit for Saturday."
