After just seven months in charge at Stamford Bridge, Scolari was sacked following a poor run which culminated in last weekend's 0-0 draw with Hull. [LNB]Deco, who arrived from Barcelona for £8 million in the summer, said: "Scolari is a good coach and he should have been given more time to get the project right. [LNB]"I was shocked when I heard the news, I almost could not believe it. The reason I came to Chelsea was to play for Scolari. [LNB]"He explained the ambitious project they had here and I decided to sign and rejected a lot of other offers."[LNB]Didier Drogba believes that Scolari had the ability to turn around the club's fortunes. [LNB]The Ivorian striker, who is currently on international duty and misssed Monday's team announcement at Cobham, said: "It's true results haven't been the best, but we had time to put things right and enough fighting qualities, especially with our progression in the Champions League. But our bad results have been decisive."[LNB]Meanwhile, Jose Bosingwa revealed a change in Scolari's character in recent weeks. [LNB]Bosingwa said: "During the last few weeks I've noticed a difference in Scolari. He's been under more pressure and without the usual smile on his face when he is at work on the training ground. [LNB]"It was a surprise to me but it's normal when the results are bad that the coach's reputation is damaged."[LNB]
