Dann relishing Chelsea tie

Coventry captain Scott Dann is looking forward to pitting himself against some of the Premier League's finest striking talent when Chelsea visit the Ricoh Arena on Saturday. The sides meet for the sixth round of the FA Cup with a place in the semi-finals at stake, and Dann and his team-mates will undoubtedly be looking to put in a good showing for such a high-profile clash. Indeed, former England U21 defender Dann has already caught the eye of several top flight clubs, but the true test of his ability will come when faced by Chelsea's multi-million pound strikeforce. "It will be the biggest game of my career," the Liverpool-born stopper told the Daily Mirror. "I don't know exactly how much Coventry paid for me but most of the players in the Chelsea team are worth over £10m. "Anelka and Drogba are two top strikers up there with the best in the world. I can't wait to play against them though as I want to prove myself against the best and play against them week in, week out. "I think this gives us all a chance to show how good we are and how good we can be." The 22-year-old only joined Coventry from Walsall just over two years ago, but after being promoted to skipper by boss Chris Coleman last summer, Dann admits that he is now thriving in the role. "Giving me the captaincy shows he thinks a lot of me," he added. "It is a buzz every week to lead the team out knowing you have that responsibility. It will make it even more exciting in front of a full house at The Ricoh against Chelsea. "The gaffer has helped me a lot since I have been here. He is always trying to help out."
