Daniel Sturridge stakes claim for Chelsea with impressive display at Rangers

[LNB]On the day that Anderlecht confirmed that they had agreed a deal to sell £18 million teenage striker Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea, Sturridge offered Villas-Boas to consider. [LNB]Sturridge scored twice as Chelsea beat Rangers 3-1 in a friendly at Ibrox and has made an excellent case for inclusion in the first team in time for competitive action. [LNB]The England Under-21 striker scored eight goals in 12 games while on loan at Bolton for the second half of last season and has impressed the new Chelsea manager with his talent and attitude.
