Johan Cruyff believes Guus Hiddink was responsible for Chelsea's exit from the UEFA Champions League.[LNB] The Blues crashed out of Europe's premier club competition on Wednesday after being held to a 1-1 draw by Barcelona at Stamford Bridge.[LNB]The Catalan giants booked a final date with Manchester United courtesy of the away goals rule, with a dramatic last-gasp equaliser from Andres Iniesta sending them through.[LNB]Chelsea's cautious approach to the two-legged semi-final has been widely questioned in the wake of their elimination, with former Barca boss Cruyff the latest to condemn Hiddink's tactical failings.[LNB]The Dutchman feels his fellow countryman was wrong to haul off talismanic striker Didier Drogba as the Blues defended a narrow lead during the second leg, especially as French full-back Eric Abidal's dismissal had seen the visitors reduced to 10 men.[LNB]"Barca were down to 10 men with 25 minutes left when Hiddink changed Drogba," said Cruyff.[LNB]"But he didn't look to kill the game off. He thought he'd won or there was no danger. He made a big mistake."[LNB]ConvincedCruyff also believes that Barcelona were deserving victors in the last four contest, with Pep Guardiola's side having approached the games in the right manner.[LNB]"The team going to Rome is the only one who played football," he added.[LNB]"I know Hiddink does not prefer this (defensive) style, but he's convinced that it's the only way to stop Barcelona.[LNB]"If you try to play against Barca they will destroy you."[LNB]
