Argentina striker Hernan Crespo has left Premiership champions
Chelsea to return to Italy to rejoin Internazionale on a two-year contract.
The 31-year-old forward has failed to settle down in England, but could return, with the Blues retaining an option to bring him back after the first year back at the San Siro.
Crespo initially joined the Blues for £16.8million from Inter in the summer of 2003 and went on to score 25 goals in 73 appearances for the Stamford Bridge club.
He spent the whole of the 2004-05 campaign on loan at AC Milan, helping the club reach the Champions League final.
Crespo recently stated: "The fact is I love Italy. The money and success don't come into it.
"Italy is my natural environment, it is the place where I will live when I retire and it is the best place to play."
Crespo has also played for Lazio and Parma, having started his career in his homeland with River Plate.
