Cole on the mend

Chelsea coach Steve Clarke expects Joe Cole to make a swift recovery from the knee injury he suffered during last weekend's 1-0 friendly defeat against the MLS All Stars.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho said immediately after the game that he feared the England midfielder had sustained serious ligament damage, but four days on the club's medical staff are much more positive about the prognosis.
Clarke told the club's official website: "Joe is okay. He has got the brace off his leg. He is moving around on his own.
"He still feels a little pain which is normal but we are hopeful he will progress very, very quickly."
Cole will miss the Community Shield, the start of the Premiership season and England's friendly against Greece, but could be back in action by the start of September.
