Cole focused on Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole has warned his team-mates that Jose Mourinho will not tolerate players starting to focus on the World Cup before the end of the club season.

The Blues' hopes of European glory were ended in Barcelona on Tuesday, but with a domestic double still to play for, Cole knows he must forget about England's World Cup campaign for the time being.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's clash with Tottenham, the 24-year-old said: "We have a great finale to the season now.

"It has been nice thinking and dreaming about the World Cup but we have to put it to bed and concentrate on Chelsea.

"It is everywhere now, adverts on the TV and stuff. It isn't easy to forget about it but if Jose thought we were daydreaming about the World Cup you would be straight off. You have to concentrate on Chelsea."
