Cole - Confidence is high

Ashley Cole believes Chelsea are growing in confidence and belief with every game they play under interim manager Guus Hiddink. The 28-year-old played his part as the Blues booked their place in the final of the FA Cup at the expense of his former club Arsenal on Saturday with a 2-1 win. The left-back points out that the belief was evident in the second half when Didier Drogba's goal was the only thing that separated the two sides in a tight and tense affair. After just one defeat under Hiddink, a 1-0 reverse at Tottenham, Cole believes the club are well placed to win the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League while he vows the players have not given up on the Premier League. "I think we began to show our dominance in the second half. We showed experience and determination to fight once again," he said. "Game by game we have been growing in confidence and belief, knowing that we are good enough to win trophies. "The Barclays Premier League might be out of our hands but we are not going to give up. "We are going to try and win every single game and if we do that I think we will have a great season. "Arsenal were on a good run but we still are. We are so confident at the minute and even if we do go a goal down, we believe we can beat anyone. We showed that again against Arsenal." Despite their good run of form the England international played down talk of a historic treble. "I don't know whether the treble is on but we could be in two finals next month and we won't give up on the league, we will keep on going."
