England defender Ashley Cole has praised Chelsea's medical staff for helping him play.[LNB] Cole admitted earlier this year "I'm 29 but I feel like 35 or 40" while giving some thought to how many years he has left at the highest level of the game.[LNB]However, he said on Thursday he is in good hands thanks to Chelsea's physios, masseurs and facilities.[LNB]He told BBC Radio Five Live: "In the mornings it's the hardest part but we have great physios, masseurs and facilities and I owe a lot to them for the way they look after me.[LNB]"Sometimes I don't train. After games it (his ankle) is a bit stiff but the coaches will say 'Stay inside and rest, you run enough in games, rest as much as you can.'[LNB]"The last few games have not been to the standard I was at at the start of the season but in the last two or three years I've got back to my best.[LNB]"When I had the ankle operation it felt freer and I could move better. I felt I was back to my best, if not better."[LNB]Cole ignores critics who questions Chelsea's ageing squad.[LNB]He added: "A lot talk about the age of team, but look how fit these guys are.[LNB]"The ages don't matter. We are experienced, know how we want to play and how each other plays."[LNB]On his much-publicised split from wife Cheryl, he added: "You have to take the good with the bad. I've had my bad times but just want to keep playing football and winning things.[LNB]"Footballers' careers don't last that long but you've got to get on with it.[LNB]"I'm probably now a bit more relaxed and go with the flow but my job is to play football. As long as my family, manager and team-mates are happy, so am I."
