Chelsea have confirmed that Joe Cole and Michael Ballack will leave the club on free transfers this summer.
Cole, 28, will leave the London club at the beginning of July after failing to agree a new deal.
The former West Ham midfielder has been heavily linked with Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham over recent weeks.
Ballack, who was signed on a free transfer from Bayern Munich by Jose Mourinho in 2006, will also leave Stamford Bridge after the club opted not to offer him a new contract.
