Do not adjust your computer screen - that's not Batman between the sticks, it is Chelsea and Czech Republic goalkeeper Petr Cech. [LNB]If Cech, who broke his nose during Chelsea's Barclays Premier League match at Blackburn last weekend, takes to the field in the Czech's Euro 2012 play-off against Montenegro on Friday, he will wear a face mask along with his familiar protective helmet.[LNB]The goalkeeper's protective gear seems to be slowly taking over his head and it would not be a surprise if we next saw him with a cape and utility belt.[LNB] Czech-out: Cech investigates his new headgear in training[LNB]Cech is desperately hoping he will be allowed to wear the mask for the match and is still testing it to see if he can perform at his best while wearing it.[LNB]'If the game was today I would not be able to play,' said Cech on Wednesday.[LNB]He added: 'The mask will protect me from further injury but if I will be 100 per cent I do not know. And in the play-offs you have to give 100%.'[LNB] Czech coach Michal Bilek was under no illusions as to the importance of the Blues' keeper.[LNB] Uncovered: a helmet-less Cech shows off the latest addition to his wardrobe[LNB]'He [Cech] will have a special mask from Italy, and how he feels will be crucial for my decision about who starts in goal,' said Bilek.[LNB]'I hope he will be ready. His presence on the pitch is very important for us because he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world.' [LNB]Jaroslav Drobny, who started for the Czech Republic in the 2-2 draw against Scotland is on stand-by to step in for Cech if he can't play.[LNB]Cech injured his head in a collision with Reading midfielder Stephen Hunt in October 2006 and after surgery for a depressed skull fracture has worn protective headgear in every game since.[LNB]It's difficult to imagine the goalkeeper without his now-iconic attire, so perhaps this latest addition will prompt Chelsea fans to wear their own Batman masks in support at Stamford Bridge.[LNB] Mourinho set to beat Arsenal, Chelsea, United and City to ?40m Lille star HazardI've found it tough in London!
