Chelsea's Malouda signs new three-year contract
French international midfielder Florent Malouda has committed himself to Chelsea until 2012, the English Premier League club said Tuesday.
"I feel really good and you can see it on the pitch and I hope we get more trophies," the 29-year-old told the club's website (www.chelseafc.com).
Malouda, who has 45 international caps and has made 52 Premier League appearances for the London-based club since joining from Olympique Lyon two years ago, said he was delighted with the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as Chelsea manager.
"I have a lot of respect for him. For me it is a really good choice," he said.
