Chelsea striker Fabio Borini is eyeing a return to action in time for Italy Under 21's clash against England next month.
The 19-year-old has been on the sidelines since the start of December after undergoing shoulder surgery.
Borini is completing his rehabilitation programme back in his homeland and has identified the clash against Stuart Pearce's men on February 8 in Empoli to make his comeback.
But whether Borini - who is out of contract at the end of the season - will be a Chelsea player by that stage remains unclear.
Carlo Ancelotti has high hopes for Borini, but the Italian hasn't made a single first-team appearance this season after talks over a new deal stalled.
Parma are leading the chase to sign the teenager and are in ongoing discussions with the Blues as they look to agree a fee for Borini.
