Chelsea will play FA Cup Semi on Sunday

No way will Liverpool play on the Saturday
Chelsea will be asked to play their FA Cup semi-final on Sunday, April 15.
The Blues secured their place in semi, at Wembley, by defeating Leicester City 5-2 at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
Later on, the Blues were pulled out of the hat to face either Spurs or Bolton, who will replay their abandoned tie.
However the other semi will be between Liverpool and the winners of the Sunderland v Everton replay.
The semi-finals are earmarked for the weekend of April 14/15 at Wembley.
The reason why Chelsea will play on the Sunday is that Liverpool won’t play on April 15. Not just this year but any year.
On April 15, 1989, 96 Liverpool supporters died in the FA Cup semi at Hillsborough, Sheffield Wednesday’s ground.
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has publically stated that the club will never play a football match again on that date.
Dalglish said: “We won't play on the 15th. The FA and UEFA have always been exemplary and very supportive, and that's great credit to them, so I don't think it's even worth a line in a paper that we might play on the 15th because we won't.
“We've never played on the 15th before, have we? So there you are. Why would they change now?”
All right-minded people respect Liverpool’s position and I’m sure that will be the case this season.
