// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Chelsea meet Premier League rivals Bolton on Wednesday in the fourth round of the Carling Cup. The Blues have enjoyed considerable success in the competition over recent years, reaching the final in two of the last three seasons. They have taken the trophy on four previous occasions and edged out capital neighbours Queens Park Rangers in their opening contest this term. Bolton have never tasted glory in the League Cup, with an agonising defeat to Middlesbrough in the 2004 final the closest they have come to the crown. They, like Chelsea, will be taking the midweek contest seriously and will be hoping to add the Blues' scalp to those already taken from West Ham and Tranmere. The two sides are also set to meet in the league at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday so will use the game as an opportunity to sound out their opponents. Shuffle packCarlo Ancelotti will make numerous changes to his side for the cup clash. John Terry, Petr Cech, Ricardo Carvalho, Michael Essien, Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka will all be rested. Paulo Ferreira, Alex, Deco, Daniel Sturridge, Florent Malouda and Salomon Kalou all return with Nemanja Matic, Jeffrey Bruma and Fabio Borini on the bench along with Lampard, Drogba and Essien. Jose Bosingwa (knee), Ashley Cole (ankle), Yury Zhirkov (knee) and John Mikel Obi (knee) are all sidelined. Elmander returnsJohan Elmander is set to return for Bolton for their trip to Stamford Bridge. The Swedish striker has been missing with a hamstring injury, but he is now back in full training and should be available. Gary Megson has no other major injury concerns aside from those involving long-term absentees Joey O'Brien and Sean Davis, who both have knee problems.
