Chelsea's Malouda warns ref: Don't put up with Barca's play-acting at Bridge

Chelsea winger Florent Malouda has called on the referee in charge of next week's Champions League semi-final return leg not to put up with any playacting from Barcelona. The Frenchman claims several of Barca's resorted to rolling around on the floor after challenges from Chelsea players during their goalless draw at the Nou Camp last night. It was the first time Barcelona had failed to score at home this season as Chelsea's defensive discipline stifled an attack which has shared 90 goals so far this season. Malouda sacrificed his natural attacking ambitions to help out in defence as Chelsea kept the likes of Lionel Messi, Thierry Henry and Samuel Eto'o at bay. But Malouda, who had a spat with Daniel Alves in the first half, urged the referee to remain strong in thesecond leg at Stamford Bridge. He said: 'We were really strong mentally to resist thatbecause when you challenge for the ball and see your opponent rollingon the floor, you have to stay calm and focused on the game. 'I hope the referee won't help them for the second leg. It is part of our game to put pressure on the opponent. But it is part of the referee's game to help us challenge fairly. 'We knew they would try to put more pressure on us so we had to stay disciplined. The manager gave us some advice to stay strong and I am really happy with the result.'
