Chelsea leading the chase for the 'New Ronaldo'

Chelsea have stepped into the race for River Plate youngster Lucas Oscampos and are now leading the chase for his signature, according to a report in the Daily Mail. Inter Milan have already had a 15 million euro bid rejected and Bayern Munich have also had an enquiry turned away. Chelsea are ready to offer over 20 million for Oscampos.

Argentina wonderkid Lucas Oscampos is the man dubbed as the new Ronaldo. At 6ft 2in the 17 year old only recently made his first team debut back in August but has already made a major impression in Argentina.

He came through the ranks at River Plate playing as a second striker but has since been converted into more of a left winger. He bases his style of play on Real Madrid star Ronaldo saying: ‘Everybody wants to be like Messi, but Ronaldo is the one I like. I try to imitate him.’
