Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech warns rivals: We haven't given up title dreams yet

Happy days: Petr Cech celebrates victory over Manchester United last week Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has insisted the Blues haven't given up hope of winning the Premier League title. Chelsea could move within six points of leaders Manchester United if they win their two games in hand, the first of them at Blackpool on Monday night, and they have still to play United at Old Trafford later in the season. 'You can see teams dropping points so we will definitely have a go and try to retain the title,' said Cech. 'Realistically, we know it is not in our hands.' Chelsea beat United 2-1 on adramatic night at Stamford Bridge last week, and Cech believes theresult will see the Blues now move in the right direction. He added: 'It's been an up and down season and I think now we are going up again and, hopefully, we will end up on a high.' Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti insists his team must be fully focused to avoid slipping up against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road. He said: 'My aim before the game has been to prepare the team well and to say tothem that we have to stay in focus more than against Manchester United.It is easy to stay in focus against Manchester United because there isa lot attention and pressure on that game. 'There is less pressureagainst Blackpool so my aim is to maintain the players in focus forthis game.'
