Chelsea are unwilling to get involved in a mega-money bidding war with Real Madrid over long-term target Franck Ribery.[LNB]The Blues are still deciding whether to make a fresh attempt to bring the France international to Stamford Bridge in January after missing out on the forward earlier this year.[LNB]Last week, Bayern Munich claimed Chelsea had offered £58.5m and full-back Jose Bosingwa for Ribery in the summer, while Real Madrid also failed to prize him away from Germany.[LNB] Target: Chelsea want Ribery - but are unwilling to pay over the odds[LNB]However, it is understood the Blues only made a bid of around £40m for the 26-year-old and are unlikely to go much higher than that figure if they decide to renew their interest in the next transfer window.[LNB]Ribery's first choice has always been a move to the Bernabeu and with the Spanish giants prepared to pay much more for the player, Spain remains the Frenchman's likely destination.[LNB]But any move is likely to happen at the end of the season.[LNB] Galactico in waiting? Ribery is likely to end up at Real Madrid[LNB]Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is likely to concentrate his efforts on signing Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero.[LNB]The Italian is hot in pursuit of the 21-year-old striker - and a fee of between £40m and £50m should be enough for the Spanish club to part with their prized asset.[LNB]However, similar to the Blues' chase for Ribery, the Chelsea boss last week warned Atletico they would not pay over the odds.[LNB]He said: 'We will not be taken by the throat. We are not desperate to take new players. [LNB][LNB] Top target: Sergio Aguero is wanted by Chelsea[LNB] [LNB]'Aguero is a young player I like and I have said at other times that big teams in Europe control the market for young players. [LNB][LNB]'Chelsea look at these players, but not only Aguero. Young players are the future for Chelsea, Manchester United, every team in Europe.'[LNB][LNB] Bayern Munich reveal Chelsea offered £58m AND full-back Jose Bosingwa for Franck RiberyRibery could leave, says Munich chief HoenessManchester United and Chelsea set to miss out as German giants Bayern secure cash to keep Franck RiberyCHELSEA FC
