Impressed: Partizan's Stefan Savic has established himself as an international defender for Montenegro[LNB]Chelsea are tracking Partizan Belgrade teenager Stefan Savic as a candidate to bolster their threadbare defence.[LNB]The 19-year-old centre half has established himself as a regular for Montenegro this year since making his debut against Northern Ireland in August and has impressed for Partizan in the Champions League.[LNB]Savic claimed in February that he had signed a preliminary agreement with Arsenal after also receiving offers from Tottenham and Birmingham, following a trial with the Gunners.[LNB]However, in August he left Borca for fellow Belgrade side Partizan. who are top of the Serb league.[LNB]Chelsea have watched the 6ft 1in defender, but face competition from Shakhtar Donetsk, Roma and CSKA Moscow.[LNB]Shakhtar, who put three past a Partizan defence shorn of Savic on Tuesday night, are willing to pay £6.75million - vastly better than the £4m Roma are willing to pay.[LNB]The non-appearance in Donetsk was of little use to CSKA scouts, who sent a delegation to watch Savic and his 21-year-old midfield team-mate Radosav Petrovic, who played just 64 minutes.[LNB]Savic impressed at Wembley last month as part of the Montenegro defence which frustrated England in a goalless draw.[LNB] Josh is getting his teenage kicks!
