Chelsea weigh up £15m Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin

ShareDiego Godin admitted he would jump at the chance of a move to Chelsea as it emerged the Blues are considering a ?15million approach for the Uruguay defender. [LNB]Chelsea were looking at the Atletico Madrid defender earlier in the season amid fears they would miss out on David Luiz. [LNB]It was reported that Blues owner Roman Abramovich sanctioned a bid of around ?55m to land centre-half Godin and Atletico striker Sergio Aguero in January.[LNB] London calling: Chelsea are still tracking Diego Godin (left)[LNB]But after capturing Luiz from Benfica, 25-year-old Godin, who played in Uruguay's friendly draw with Holland this week, could be next.
