Chelsea v STOKE: Tony Pulis boosted by return of defender Ryan Shawcross

24 April 2010 11:37
Stoke will have key defender Ryan Shawcross back in their squad for the first time since late February for the tough trip to Barclays Premier League title chasers Chelsea on Sunday.

Shawcross has been out with an ankle injury and boss Tony Pulis has confirmed he will be in the party at Stamford Bridge, but is unlikely to be in the starting line-up.

Rankled: Shawcross (r) could feature having fully recovered from his ankle injury

Stoke's only serious injury worry is striker Mamady Sidibe, who is still fighting to recover from a groin problem that forced him to miss last weekend's home defeat by Bolton.

Team (from): Sorensen, Huth, Abdoulaye Faye, Collins, Lawrence, Whelan, Whitehead, Delap, Etherington, Kitson, Fuller, Tuncay, Pugh, Wilkinson, Moult, Amdy Faye, Begovic, Beattie, Sidibe.
