Affluent clubs Chelsea and Manchester City go head-to-head in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.[LNB] Both sides have benefited from the financial muscle of their respective owners, although City remain a work in progress after they were taken over by the Abu Dhabi United Group last summer.[LNB]Chelsea are currently benefiting from a change of manager, with temporary boss Guus Hiddink unbeaten since he succeeded Luiz Felipe Scolari in February.[LNB]Hiddink has recorded three straight top-flight wins, while he has led the club into the semi-finals of the FA Cup and last eight of the UEFA Champions League.[LNB]Eighth-placed City, meanwhile, will still be hopeful they could make a late charge for a European berth, although they must put right their away form.[LNB]Mark Hughes' men have not recorded a top-flight victory on their travels since they defeated Sunderland last August.[LNB]Blues coach Hiddink will consider rotating his side after a gruelling 2-2 draw against Juventus on Tuesday night.[LNB]Ghana midfielder Michael Essien, who recently returned from a long-term knee injury, could be rested after playing 66 minutes of the draw in Turin.[LNB]Defender Ricardo Carvalho made a brief cameo during midweek but a starting berth this weekend may come too soon, while Salomon Kalou could be restored to the starting XI.[LNB]City's midfield duo Vincent Kompany and Nigel de Jong will again miss out for the Eastlands club.[LNB]Kompany (toe) may be fit in time for next week's Uefa Cup second leg against Aalborg but De Jong joins Craig Bellamy on the sidelines with a knee injury.[LNB]Hughes may opt to keep the side that beat Aalborg on Thursday night, as Shaun Wright-Phillips and Wayne Bridge both return to Stamford Bridge for the first time since joining City.[LNB]Possible starting XIs:Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Terry, Alex, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Ballack, Kalou, Drogba, Anelka.[LNB]Man City: Given, Richards, Dunne, Onuoha, Bridge, Zabaleta, Elano, Ireland, Wright-Phillips, Robinho, Caicedo.[LNB]
