Follow Sportsmail's coverage of the Champions League where Chelsea will look to to progress to the quarter-finals when they take on Copenhagen at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have a two goal advantage from the first leg and will be heavy favourites to progress. Email me all your thoughts on the action at dan.ripley@dailymail.co.uk[LNB] Chelsea 0-0 Copenhagen (7.45pm) Agg: 2-0 Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Mikel (Essien 84), Lampard, Zhirkov (Malouda 76), Anelka (Torres 68), Drogba.Subs: Turnbull, Ferreira, Kalou, McEachran.[LNB]FC Copenhagen: Wiland, Wendt, Jorgensen, Antonsson, Bengtsson (Zohore 61), Bolanos (Kristensen 90), Claudemir, Kvist, Vingaard (Santin 74), Gronkjaer, Ndoye.Subs: Christensen, Bergvold, Hooiveld, Delaney.[LNB]Referee: Svein Oddvar Moen (Norway) [LNB]21.48: Well that wraps up the last 16 of the Champions League and that also wraps things up here.[LNB]But European football continues tomorrow when Manchester City and Liverpool look to overturn deficits in their last 16 Europa League ties.[LNB]Follow Sportsmail's coverage of that which promises to add at the very least more excitement than this evening![LNB]Thank your for following and good night.[LNB]21.45: The Blues looked lively this evening but the whole game had a pre-season feel to it the way Chelsea tried unorthodox things in front of goal.[LNB]Torres looked good after coming on, but was starved of service due to the lack of urgency in Chelsea's play.[LNB]Not that urgency was needed, the home side looked comfortable from start to finish.[LNB]21.42: Routine stuff for Chelsea then and here is the full quarter-final list:[LNB]Barcelona, Shakhtar Donetsk, Tottenham, Schalke, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Chelsea and Real Madrid[LNB]21.38: It too is all over at the Bernabeu, where Real Madrid have beaten Lyon 3-0 to progress to the quarter-finals.[LNB]Full-time: Chelsea 0-0 Copenhagen (Chelsea win 2-0 on aggregate)[LNB]90+3min: Chelsea should score but the team's desperation to see Torres score means they don't! Lampard has the time to control a cross and bury it, but he chooses to feed Torres instead who is quickly intercepted and Copenhagen clear.[LNB]90+2min: From InfostradaLive:[LNB]Real Madrid have always won the Champions Cup/Champions League in years in which they have knocked out a French opponent.[LNB]90+1min: Three minutes added on.[LNB]90min: Final sub from Copenhagen, Thomas Kristensen replaces the Tom Daley inspired Bolanos.[LNB]88min: But this was worse. Drogba eyes up a shot from 25 yards but he smacks it miles over...he looks embarrassed and so he should be, that was shocking![LNB]87min: Santin has a speculative effort from 23 yards out but it lacks the quality to trouble Cech as it sails wide.[LNB]86min: There doesn't seem to be any last gung-ho attempt from Copenhagen who seem already resigned to their fate.[LNB]84min: Final change from Chelsea sees Mikel going off for Michael Essien, just going through the motions now.[LNB]81min: Christian Bolanos is booked for what is a pretty useless dive, not even the ref had to think twice about that.[LNB] Super sub? Torres looked sharp after coming on for Anelka[LNB]80min: Chelsea's turn to threaten from a set-piece but Drogba's 25-yard strike lacks the power to trouble Wiland.[LNB]79min: It's effectively all over at the Bernabeu, Angel di Maria has pounced to put Real Madrid 3-0 up on the night and the hosts now lead 4-1 on aggregate.[LNB]77min: Proof that the Danes lack quality tonight. N'Doye has a good run at goal but with the striker's textbook screaming at him to shoot across goal, he does the complete opposite and fires a near post shot well off target.[LNB]76min: Second sub for Chelsea who bring on Florent Malouda for Zhirkov. A good shift from the Russian too.[LNB]75min: Good stuff from Torres, he shows quick feet to escape his marker with the ball but from a difficult angle, sees his shot across goal well plucked out by Wiland. The keeper has had a good game.[LNB]74min: An immediate substitution is first up after Vingaard has to limp off the pitch following an awkward landing on his feet in a challenge with Lampard. Cesar Santin is on in his place.[LNB]72min: Right just under 20 minutes and Copenhagen have survived long enough to maybe start deciding there isn't much to lose now. What's left in the Danes' locker?[LNB]69min: It's now 2-0 to Real Madrid after Karim Benzema put the finishing touches on a ruthless counter from the hosts.[LNB]Moments later he could put the tie to bed, but unmarked inside the box he fires a first time strike over.[LNB]68min: On comes Torres, replacing Anelka. He won't need a second invitation to shoot tonight.[LNB]67min: Claudemir is booked after bringing down Ramires.[LNB]66min: That is typical of Chelsea this evening. Ramires has a chance to shoot...but he cuts back to Lampard. He has a chance to shoot...but he attempts a clever chip to the back post where nobody is waiting. Someone just take a routine shot![LNB]64min: Some rare possession play from Copenhagen but they don't seem like they know what to do with it once then enter Chelsea's half.[LNB]61min: Copenhagen make their first sub and 17-year-old Kenneth Zohore is on for Pierre Bengtsson. I am telling you now he looks more 27 than 17.[LNB] Blues old boy: Jesper Gronkjaer (right) skips a challenge from Jon Mikel Obi[LNB]59min: A couple more chances for Chelsea. Ramires smacks over a difficult volley from a corner, while Anelka's powerful run ends when his 25 yard strike is straight at Wiland.[LNB]56min: Time for a stat from InfostradaLive while we have a lull in the play.[LNB]Jos? Mourinho has won 15 of the 16 European home matches in which his club have held a 1-0 half-time lead.[LNB]54min: Drogba is the first man booked this evening after a studs up challenge on Vingaard, Torres warming up.[LNB]53min: Anelka again is through on goal but just as he is about to pull the trigger, Mikael Antonsson gets across superbly to make a sliding tackle.[LNB]51min: Moments after Anelka wastes another chance after trying to be too clever in cutting back into a sea of pink shirts, Jon Mikel Obi's header from a corner clips the top of the bar and goes over. One way traffic.[LNB]50min: Tidy from Ramires, he takes a touch to give him space to run up before firing low from 30 yards where Wiland easily makes the save. Surprised he didn't get more power on that.[LNB]48min: Another chance goes begging. Bosingwa's cross from deep is perfect for Drogba in the box but he can only volley wide. Should score and he knows it.[LNB]Second-half: Away we go again.[LNB]20.44: That is no disrespect to Copenhagen though, who only if it's through set-pieces have threatened the Chelsea goal.[LNB]I still think the hosts need at least a goal to put this tie to bed.[LNB]20.40: Half-time in Madrid too, where Real lead on the night but Lyon, just like when the game started, still need just a goal to keep their fate in their own hands, albeit one that could lead to penalties. [LNB]20.35: Honestly, I think if Chelsea want to score they will. Everything about that performance had 'training ground' written all over it.[LNB]Half-time: Chelsea 0-0 Copenhagen[LNB] Fumbled: Wiland blocks Anelka's effort on goal[LNB]45min: Chelsea break but Drogba's left foot curler from the edge of the box again lacks power as Wiland comfortably takes. One minute added on.[LNB]44min: Right another Copenhagen free-kick, but this one is 35 yards out and the ball in is easily cleared by the hosts. [LNB]42min: I have a feeling that if Chelsea were really trying they would be at least 3-0 up. Drogba is the latest to find space down the left, but rather than shoot he elects the more difficult cross which goes over the top of everyone and out to safety.[LNB]39min: The sting from Chelsea's attack has gone in the last few minutes but the visitors don't really seem capable of creating chances from open play.[LNB]36min: A goal in Madrid. Marcelo has just shown some tremendous skill to fire the hosts ahead. A Lyon equaliser would leave extra-time on the cards.[LNB]33min: What must Torres be thinking? Drogba and Anelka not for the first time this evening link up wonderfully again.[LNB]The Frenchman manages to latch on to the former's through ball where at the by line he cuts the ball back for Zhirkov who under big pressure directs his shot wide.[LNB] Chopped down: Bosingwa (left) hauls down Vingaard[LNB]32min: From a footballing perspective it is a shame this game isn't closer on aggregate. Chelsea still doing the majority of the attacking but the visitors look quite strong on set-pieces.[LNB]29min: No goals in Madrid where it remains a very even contest. It's 1-1 on aggregate don't forget and as it stands Real would progress on away goals.[LNB]26min: It doesn't get any closer than that! I said set-pieces were Copenhagen's best chances and they nearly score from one,  after Dame N'Doye sends Petr Cech completely the wrong way from a free-kick only to see his strike clatter the inside of the post and out to safety. Desperately unlucky, it really was.[LNB]23min: Even when Copenhagen defend heavily they can't plug the gaps. In a matter of three touches Drogba bulldozes his way past Oscar Wendt and Vingaard before Wiland is quick off his line to grab the ball.[LNB]21min: How have Chelsea not scored? Zhirkov is at it again as he threads through an ONSIDE Anelka, but the striker's attempted shot is well blocked from close range by Wiland.[LNB]18min: Brilliant, Yuri Zhirkov starts the move and almost finishes it with his shot going just wide inside the box, but it's all about Drogba. He beats one player in the box before a clever back heel gives Cole space to shoot at goal. The full-back though elects the pass across goal that the Russian miscued.[LNB]17min: And there is another as Anelka again is just ever so slightly offside, they are playing a dangerous game are the Danes and they are not showing too much going forward either.[LNB] Pink pressure: Copenhagen's Claudemir (left) challenges Chelsea's Nicolas Anelka for the ball[LNB]14min: This isn't your typical 0-0 so far. Copenhagen have more than once left gaps at the back and only a couple of very tight offside decisions on Drogba and Anelka have let them off the hook.[LNB]11min: Good stuff from Drogba after he attempts two 20-yard efforts. The first comes straight back at him but his second is set for the bottom corner until Johan Wiland takes a comfortable catch. The Ivorian's strike slightly lacking power.[LNB]9min: And nearly score! Drogba's flick for Cole is superb and it sends the full-back through on goal down the left.[LNB]As the gap and angle to goal decreases though he chooses the wrong option and shoots into the side netting. Greedy.[LNB]8min: Disappointing as Vingaard's strike clatters into the wall and Chelsea clear.[LNB]7min: No complaints there, Jose Bosingwa looks pretty desperate as he brings down Martin Vingaard in full flow down the centre, and the visitors have a free-kick just 20 yards out. These will be their best chances of scoring this evening.[LNB]4min: That is a chance for Chelsea. Some good passing football has the visitors standing like statues (not MJ ones) and after Ashley Cole escapes down the left, his low ball in is fired wide by Frank Lampard on his weaker foot.[LNB]3min: Slow start at Stamford Bridge, the only conclusion I have come to so far is I may need to pop home to get some sunglasses to watch this match. Copenhagen's kit is really in your face.[LNB]Kick-off: Copenhagen get us going.[LNB]19.44: As with last night's games, a minute silence in both games to reflect on the terrible natural disasters in Japan.[LNB]Not impeccably observed sadly, what is up with some people?[LNB] Up for the cup: Copenhagen fans inside Stamford Bridge[LNB]19.41: Teams are out, Copenhagen wearing a pink kit that you wouldn't miss from a mile off.[LNB]19.38: Stadiums filling up nicely this evening. It looks to be a cracking atmosphere at Madrid.[LNB]Under Jose Mourinho the home fans really believe they can end this last 16 bug.[LNB]Lyon though have never lost to Madrid in the seven times they have played them.[LNB]19.35: Copenhagen have played two away games since their first leg meeting with Chelsea, winning one and losing one.[LNB]Mind you they still dominate the Danish league, they are top by 19 points.[LNB]19.32: So what do Chelsea need to do tonight. Not get complacent is their best advice, they can lose by a goal and still progress.[LNB]Judging by the Champions' recent form, Copenhagen will be lucky to get a draw let alone a win, it really is Chelsea's to lose.[LNB]19.29: An interesting thing to keep an eye out tonight. If Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka fire in a few goals, does either deserved to get dropped for the mis-firing Torres next game?[LNB]19.26: Going back to Gronkjaer, it wasn't just a Champions League place at stake at the end of the 2003 season, the club's future was also in doubt before Roman's army came in.[LNB]They probably should have put a statue of the Dane up in front of the Stamford Bridge in his honour. Don't snigger it's no more silly than this.[LNB]19.23: So the Torres duck is set to go on further, though I admit it's not his fault tonight.[LNB]I think it's a strange decision to leave him out, if it's a goal he needs surely this is the perfect game to get it?[LNB]If they are worried he may not score why pay ?50million for him?[LNB]19.20: Oh, nearly forgot, team news from the Bernabeu:[LNB]Real Madrid v LyonReal Madrid: Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Carvalho, Marcelo, Khedira, Alonso, Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo, Benzema. Subs: Adan, Diarra, Granero, Canales, Arbeloa, Albiol, Adebayor.Lyon: Lloris, Reveillere, Cris, Lovren, Cissokho, Briand, Gourcuff, Toulalan, Kallstrom, Delgado, Lopez. Subs: Vercoutre, Diakhate, Pjanic, Kolodzieczak, Gomis, Gonalons, Pied.Referee: Damir Skomina (Slovenia)[LNB] Happy ending: Jesper Gronkjaer (centre) celebrates with John Terry after scoring against Manchester United in his penultimate game for Chelsea back in 2004[LNB]19.17: Welcome back Jesper Gronkjaer by the way. If I have done my research correctly I believe this is his first time back at Stamford Bridge since leaving in 2004.[LNB]I'm sure there some of you out there to prove me wrong if not.[LNB]Hope he gets a good reception, after all it was his goal that got Chelsea to the Champions League in 2003 and ultimately persuaded Roman Abramovich to buy the club.[LNB]19.14: Chelsea - Copenhagen is one of the two remaining quarter-finals being played this evening.[LNB]The other is Real Madrid v Lyon where the score is 1-1 following the first leg in France, we will keep track of that game too.[LNB]Worth noting Madrid have been eliminated in the last 16 every season since 2005.[LNB]19.11: Fernando Torres starts on the bench as Chelsea look to secure their progress to the Champions League quarter-finals against FC Copenhagen.[LNB]The Spain international has endured a frustrating time since joining from Liverpool in January and is named amongst the substitutes for the round of 16 second leg.[LNB]Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti names a strong starting line-up at Stamford Bridge and plumps for a frontline comprised of Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka, who netted twice in the first leg in Denmark.[LNB]FC Copenhagen, meanwhile, are boosted by Mikael Antonsson's recovery from the buttock strain that had threatened to rule him out, although Zdenek Pospech is suspended.[LNB]19.08: Team news from Stamford Bridge:[LNB]Chelsea v FC CopenhagenChelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Ramires, Mikel, Lampard, Zhirkov, Anelka, Drogba. Subs: Turnbull, Essien, Torres, Malouda, Ferreira, Kalou, McEachran.FC Copenhagen: Wiland, Wendt, Jorgensen, Antonsson, Bengtsson, Bolanos, Claudemir, Kvist, Vingaard, Gronkjaer, Ndoye. Subs: Christensen, Bergvold, Santin, Kristensen, Zohore, Hooiveld, Delaney.Referee: Svein Oddvar Moen (Norway)[LNB]19.05: Arsenal eventually succumbed to Barcelona, Tottenham scraped past AC Milan and Manchester United never looked totally certain of victory against Marseille.[LNB]The last 16 has not been a comfortable ride for those Premier League, but this is where Chelsea come in, who after winning 2-0 in Copenhagen in the first leg can be forgiven for thinking tonight's tie is already done and dusted.[LNB]Mind you still 90 minutes of football to go yet, I have seen bigger comebacks as well. Team news on the way.[LNB] Touching distance of the quarter-finals: Didier Drogba is likely to get the nod in attack for Chelsea[LNB]  Ancelotti: Chelsea's brute force can overpower Barca in European questCarlo's lucky tie: Kind draw lets Chelsea boss take heat off Torres All the latest Chelsea news, features and opinion[LNB]  Explore more:People: Didier Drogba, Fernando Torres, Nicolas Anelka, Carlo Ancelotti, Roman Abramovich, Sergio Ramos, Jose Bosingwa, Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, Yuri Zhirkov, Petr Cech, Karim Benzema, Michael Essien Places: Copenhagen, Barcelona, Liverpool, Madrid, Lyon, Spain, Norway, Denmark, France, Slovenia, Japan
