Chelsea-United FA Cup replay set for April 1

The FA Cup quarter-final replay between English powerhouses Chelsea and Manchester United will take place on April 1, the Football Association announced on Wednesday.

The sides drew 2-2 at Old Trafford on Sunday, necessitating a replay at Stamford Bridge.

The winners will meet Manchester City in the semi-final.

"Following consultation with all relevant stakeholders, The FA can confirm that The FA Cup with Budweiser Sixth Round Proper Replay between Chelsea and Manchester United at Stamford Bridge will take place on Easter Monday 1 April, live on ITV. Kick-off is at 12.30pm (1230GMT)," read a statement from the FA.
