Chelsea have been warned Neven Subotic will cost them 'a lot of money' if they want to prise the defender away from Borussia Dortmund.

The 21-year-old has emerged as a target for the Blues with Manchester City and AC Milan also interested in the centre-back.

But Subotic's agent Stephen Kelly claims Chelsea would have to break the bank as the player has just agreed a lucrative four-year deal with the Bundesliga side.

A fortune: Neven Subotic has signed a new contract at Borussia Dortmund

Kelly said: 'It will take a hell of a lot of money to get Neven. He'shappy with his new four-year contract. It's a bloody good one, too.'
