Chelsea to swoop for Dani Alves while Florent Malouda wanted by Juventus

According to the Mirror[LNB], Roman Abramovich's cheque book will get a dusting down this summer, with Alves Chelsea's main target. [LNB]Chelsea made their first attempt to sign the 25-year-old right back last summer, after it became clear he wanted to quit Sevilla. [LNB]As a result Alves moved to Barcelona who have revealed that officials from both Chelsea and Manchester City have recently made enquiries as to how available the Brazilian will be at the end of the season. [LNB]There is rumoured to be a £90 million price clause in Alves' contract - which, the Mirror says, can be changed should he decide he wants to leave. [LNB]Meanwhile, Juventus are said to be arranging an £11 million bid for Malouda, who has failed to make much of an impact on new manager Guus Hiddink. [LNB]The Italian club have targeted the 28-year-old following Pavel Nedved's announcement that he will retire at the end of the season. [LNB]According to the Sun[LNB], Juventus have approached Malouda's representatives. [LNB]They quote a source in Turin as saying: "We have been looking at a number of options and Malouda is very high on the list. Let's see what happens at the end of the season."[LNB]
