Chelsea to swap Didier Drogba for Pato

Carlo Ancelotti, the Chelsea manager, is determined to bring the brilliant Brazilian teenager to London. And the Daily Star says Drogba could be allowed to join the Italian giants as part of the deal. Drogba is banned for the first four Champions League games of next season, and has appeared unsettled at Chelsea since the departure of Jose Mourinho in 2007. The sale of fellow Brazilian Kaka to Real Madrid, and the departure of Ancelotti to Chelsea, have made Pato consider his future. And the 19-year-old has claimed he will speak with Ancelotti before deciding his next move. 'I will talk with Ancelotti. He is an extraordinary man. It is thanks to Ancelotti that I managed to come through at Milan and in Italian football," said Pato. "Before deciding my future I want to talk with him. At the end of June, after the Confederations Cup in South Africa, I will talk with the Milan directors."
