Serbian youngster Nemanja Matic has claimed Chelsea are one of a number of clubs vying for his signature. The 20-year-old midfielder, who plays for Serbian club Kosice, says a deal taking him to Stamford Bridge is close to completion and talks are ongoing on a daily basis. "The London club are very interested about seeing me in their ranks this summer," he told the Serbian Daily Press. "I've left the whole matter up to my agents. The talks are being conducted on a daily basis and I think that everything will soon be finished. "All in all, there's a possibility that I'll become a Chelsea player in the next few days. It's important that my club Kosice, where I won recognition as a player, is satisfied. "I have a contract with them for another one-and-a-half years and I hope it will end in the best possible way." Matic, who has represented Serbia at youth level, added that a number of clubs including Middlesbrough, where he has previously spent time on trial, have been tracking his progress.
