Chelsea target considering Barca future

Barcelona forward Pedro says he has received offers to leave the Nou Camp this summer.

The Spain international, who is a reported target of top Premier League clubs, is considering leaving Barca after 10 years at the club.

Pedro started in just 25 of Barca's 60 official games in the 2014/15 campaign and the 27-year-old has seen his playing time decrease since the arrival of Uruguay forward Luis Suarez from Liverpool last summer.

"It's true there are offers and it's a difficult situation for me at Barcelona," Pedro told Spanish sports newspaper El Mundo Deportivo.

"You want to have minutes but there are less opportunities every year and each time it's more difficult.

"I would have liked to have retired here..... we will see what happens."

Pedro signed a contract extension at Barca until June 2019 before last month's Champions League final in Berlin.

However, he did not play a certain number of games this past season and that automatically reduced his buyout clause from 150 million euros (£106m) to 30m (£21m).

"It's true that both parties decided to lower the clause," said the forward.

"Over the next few days we will speak and look to see what the best option is.

"I have won many titles and that fills me with pride and satisfaction, but you always have the ambition to continue to improve and play."

Pedro has lifted 19 trophies with Barca since joining the first team in the 2007/08 campaign, including five La Liga titles and three Champions League crowns.

He also won the World Cup with Spain in South Africa five years ago and Euro 2012.
