Chelsea target Carlo Ancelotti pledges future to AC Milan

Chelsea had identified Ancelotti as the ideal candidate to succeed interim manager Guus Hiddink at the end of the season while Real have also been linked with the Italian if Florentino Perez becomes club president again. [LNB] "My wish is to remain at Milan. It's of course on condition that we finish at least third and manage qualification for the Champions League," Ancelotti told Gazzetta dello Sport. "The issue is closed. My aim, which I repeat so everyone understands, is to coach Milan also next season." [LNB]With the aim of joining the best in Europe next season, Ancelotti, when asked who the strongest team currently were pointed to the Premier League. "Liverpool are the most difficult team to face," he said. "Rafa Benitez is a great [coach]. [LNB] "Their defence is tight, they have a perfect counter-attack and to play against them is risky. Manchester [United] are strong but at least they allow you to play. Liverpool don't." [LNB]
