Chelsea could get around Neymar's spiralling release clause by making a swift move before the 18-year-old's new contract with Santos kicks in.[LNB]The Blues have been tipped to make a last-ditch bid to sign the Brazil forward before Tuesday's transfer deadline - despite Neymar commiting to a new five-year stay.[LNB]The deal saw his release clause rise from £28.6million (at today's exchange rates) to £36.8m, but the lower figure remains in place until December 1. [LNB] Price set to rise: A release clause in Neymar's contract will see his his value soar[LNB]However, a renewed move looks doomed to failure. The player's Brazilianagent Wagner Ribeiro says that Chelsea had tried to discourage Neymarfrom signing the new contract by agreeing to meet the release clause -but the teen still refused.[LNB]Ribeiro said the Chelsea representatives had called Neymar 'crazy', bringing into doubt any future deal, although interest from the Barclays Premier League champions is still being encouraged.[LNB]Super agent Pini Zahavi, who was involved with talks between Chelsea and the player's dad earlier this month, said: 'Neymar will stay with Santos but I'm sure he will become a Chelsea player eventually. [LNB] Presidential approval: Neymar (left) with Brazil's leader Luiz Inacio 'Lula' da Silva and Santos midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso[LNB]'He loves Santos and wants to win the Copa Libertadores, South America's most important competition. But Neymar also knows that for his career he needs to move to a big club.'[LNB]Santos persuaded Neymar to sign a new five-year contract by bringing in sponsors to triple his salary to £40,000 a week and setting out to a marketing strategy to raise his profile in Europe.[LNB]He was also reluctant to leave a club that has great ambition of winning the Copa Libertadores next June, but he may then be ready to move.[LNB]Santos insist they want him until at least the 2014 World Cup is held on home soil.[LNB] Bayern Munich misfit Martin Demichelis set to snub Chelsea move in favour of SevillaChelsea line up Inter Milan's Nicolas Burdisso as a replacement for Ricardo CarvalhoCHELSEA FC
