Former World Footballer Of The Year and Real Madrid star Kaka has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea rumoured to be interested in the possible sale of the playmaker.
The former AC Milan man has become something of a bit-part player under manager Jose Mourinho, who does not appear to see him as part of his first-team plans.
This source states that both PSG and AC Milan have been sounded out over the possibility of the midfielder’s imminent availability but both sides are unwilling to foot the player’s massive salary demands.
Roman Abramovich feels that he could do with bringing in a ‘marquee’ signing to appease fans who will have been disappointed by their side’s inability to mount a genuine Premier League title challenge as well as being dumped out of the Champions League at the first hurdle.
Kaka may well be tempted by the chance of a move to Stamford Bridge, not least because he would link up with national team colleagues David Luiz, Ramires and Oscar.
Kaka has started just four of Real Madrid’s 32 games in all competitions this term.
