Chelsea on alert to sign shock Barcelona contract rebel

With a CV which lists most of the worlds biggest honours it seems that Sergio Busquets may have lost faith in the Enrique roadmap for Barca and has stalled penning a new contract. The report suggests that whilst Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all keen on the defensive midfielder that Chelsea are the more likely to lure the Player to a new challenge in the Premier League.

The Blues are looking for a replacement for John Obi Mikel says the report but that means they are looking for a player that would come in second fiddle to the brilliant Nemanja Matic who has been at the centre of the Chelsea run that has seen them dominate the first half the championship. Such a move may not be to the Spaniards liking unless Mourinho plans more rotation and competition in midfield which may not be a bad thing to ensure his players are at their peak for the big games.

It could be that Busquets wants to remind Barca that he is an exceptional player and could easily find employment at the top tables of the major European leagues if his contract terms are not as good as he thinks they should be before signing.

If Chelsea are able to stay ahead of the pack in the league it will be their first league title since 2010 and having people like Busquets could make all the difference as fitness becomes more of an issue. The player is believed to be looking at all the options and this includes interest from PSG and Bayern Munich.
