Chelsea must win silverware this season says Didier Drogba

Since publicly declaring he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge in 2007, the Ivory Coast international has been the subject of never-ending transfer speculation. But now, after five years with the club, Drogba's focus is set solely on ensuring he wins more silverware before his career comes to an end. [LNB]Echoing the sentiments of manager Carlos Ancelotti, who earlier this week said he had been given no specific trophy to chase, Drogba told the Chelsea magazine: "I don't mind which but we have to win one. Why can't we win both?"[LNB]When asked about his future as a Chelsea player, he explained that his happiness descends from his family's and their uneasiness when they initially made the move to England was the source of transfer gossip. [LNB]"I feel totally settled here," Drogba continued. "It took me a bit of time in my first season because my oldest kid was not happy to begin with and wanted to move back to Marseilles. [LNB]"Family is really important to me and I wanted to make sure that they were happy as it helps you perform well. [LNB]"At home, if someone is happy then they will be happy at work. It came good - my kids started to speak English and we made some friends here. [LNB]"The thing is people are always talking about the day I said I wanted to go from here, but I've said I'm happy here many times and I am. I have my plan - I know what I want to achieve with Chelsea - and I'm here to stay, and want more success."[LNB]The 31-year-old also rubbished reports which claim he returns from injury a better and more consistent player. [LNB]Having struggled to impress under the leadership of Luiz Felipe Scolari last season, Drogba has come into his own since Guus Hiddink took over and subsequently handed the reins to Ancelotti, and this he puts down to confidence. [LNB]"Every time my fitness is good, I play well and I score goals," he said. "People like to say every time I come back to full fitness after injury, 'Oh this is the new Drogba'. But there's nothing new, I'm just scoring goals like I did before, I'm the same player. [LNB]"I love to receive the ball into feet to be given the chance to try to create something, to pass to my team-mates and it makes me more unpredictable because I can use my balance and my strength to help. [LNB]"My biggest strength and my biggest weakness is my confidence, I know that I can score goals so my confidence is always high. Even if I'm not playing my confidence is high, but then I think about what I could do if I was playing." [LNB]
