For the Santos striker has poured cold water on speculation that he is set to sign with the Premier League champions this summer.

The 19-year-old, who scored both goals in Brazil's recent 2-0 friendly win over Scotland at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, has also been linked with European powerhouses Barcelona and Juventus.

Neymar is keen to help the Selecao earn their third consecutive Copa America trophy and insists that the tournament, which takes place in Argentina in July, is what he is focussing upon.

'Serie A? I don't know what the future holds for me. It's in the hands of God. I really don't know what will happen in June,' Neymar was quoted as saying by Sky Sport 24.

'I just want to focus on the upcoming Copa America. I have to do my utmost to earn myself a spot in the squad.'

Neymar is among the best paid players in Brazil and has made it clear that he's pleased that he's getting rewarded for his fine performances.

'I'm very happy that my work is appreciated. I love to play together with the lads at Santos and we'd love to continue playing together. It doesn't just depend on what we want though.'
