Chelsea Linked With New South Korean Sensation

Chelsea are set to beat a host of Premier League clubs as they look to land South Korea sensation Heung-Min Son, thus grow their commercial profile in Asia according to Metro.

South Korea sensation Son, who is rated as one of the hottest properties in German football, has been scouted by the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham in the last 12 months, but Chelsea look to be in the forefront for his signature.

The Blues’ former Director of Football Frank Arnesen is now working at Hamburg, and as part of the link-up the two clubs enjoy, Chelsea believe they will be able to secure Son for around £10million.

According to reports in Germany, Roman Abramovich’s right-hand man Michael Emenalo is urging Chelsea to look at securing a deal for the striker as soon as possible, and has highlighted the potential commercial influence having one of Asian football’s newest stars could have.
