Chelsea in for Napoli's Spanish star

With Jose Mourinho having so recently announced he is not necessarily in the market for new players it may come as a surprise that Jose Callejon is being so strongly linked with the Blues.

The Metro reports that Chelsea are actually in talks with Napoli about a deal for the forward who is apparently keen on joining up again with Jose Mourinho from their time at Real Madrid. It appears like Callejon is the substitute target for Pedro as contrasting reports are coming from the Barcelona camp thereby making a deal very difficult to complete. A deal in the region of £10million is supposedly set to be agreed.

It is entirely viable that the Special One wants to bolster his attacking force as Diego Costa is injury prone whilst Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao may not possess certain qualities the Blues manager requires of his strikers.

The real question will probably be where in the pecking order Callejon would want to be considering he would want to have regular playing time yet he would be the least adjusted of the Chelsea forwards.
