Chelsea flop Deco lined up to be a Vietnam veteran with Van Nistelrooy

Deco will quit Chelsea for Vietnam after next summer's World Cup, according to the president of V-League 'giants' TT Ha Noi. Do Quang Hien says he has already spoken to Chelsea and expects the transfer to be the start of a relationship between the two clubs. Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho wanted to sign the 31-year-old this summer but failed to agree a fee. TT Ha Noi have also been linked with moves for former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy and Spain midfielder Guti - both of Real Madrid. But some Asian commentators have dismissed the transfer pursuits as a publicity stunt. Brazilian veteran Denilson, one the most expensive player in the world, joined Hai Phong Cement in June, but played just once before returning home injured, £15,000 better off.
