Secret bid not enough

Chelsea have been outbid and have lost the chance to buy Battersea Power Station.

Following a secret bidding process, it's emerged that Malaysia's SP Setia and Sime Darby have won the right to redevelop the iconic site.

Chelsea, submitted plans last month to buy the 15-hectare site.

It's believed the Malaysian property companies submitted a bid of £400m.

Quite what this means for the Blue's future is unclear.

Perhaps they will wait and see if the site can actully be developed, afterall the site has been sold several times and not one scrap of new building has emerged.

Perhaps Chelsea and the council will get together and sort out an action plan that will see Stamford Bridge developed with both parties satisfied.

What do you think of the latest developement?
