Chelsea considering Avram Grant for director of football role
Avram Grant could make a return to Chelsea at the end of the season with the Blues considering him for the post of director of football. [LNB]With sporting director Frank Arnesen and head of scouting Lee Congerton leaving for Hamburg, Roman Abramovich is set to lead a summer shake-up of the club's backroom staff and that could open the door for Grant's return to Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Telegraph. [LNB]Grant, 56, has endured a turbulent season at West Ham, fighting against relegation and watching as the club's bosses attempted to replace him with Martin O'Neill in January. Even if he leads West Ham to Barclays Premier League survival it is far from certain he will keep hispost.
