According to TalkSPORT Chelsea are close to agreeing a deal to bring in Metalist Kharkiv's Brazilian striker Tasion.

Rafa Benitez is keen to bring another striker to Stamford Bridge, currently only having two senior forwards at his disposal – the misfiring Fernando Torres and Daniel Sturridge, who has been linked with a move away from the London club.

Taison has impressed since moving to Ukrainian club Metalist in 2010, scoring 20 goals. He recently caught the eye of Chelsea after scoring a superbly struck volley against Rosenborg in the Europa League.

Globo Esporte have reported that the forward is in London at the moment after he was given permission to talk to Chelsea by Metalist.

It is thought the Blues could sign the player for around ₤12 million and are looking to seal a deal as soon as possible.
