Chelsea carry on spending through ban by lining up Croatia star Delac
Chelsea have agreed in principle to sign Croatian goalkeeper Matej Delac.
The transfer ban imposed on the Blues would mean they cannot bring him in from Inter Zapresic until January 2011.
But a £2million fee is understood to have been agreed and the 17-year-old had a medical on Friday.
Chelsea talent-spotter Frank Arnesen and his team of scouts have been tracking the player since last season when he broke into the Inter Zapresic first team.
He is the youngest player to appear in the top division of Croatian football and has represented the national team at Under 16, Under 17 and Under 19 levels.
