Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo admits he has the option of recalling Romelu Lukaku
Roberto Di Matteo has confirmed that Chelsea have the option of recalling Romelu Lukaku from his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion.
The Belgium international striker moved to the Hawthorns in August on a season-long loan, and he has impressed with two goals to his name already.
And Di Matteo has now revealed that he could bring Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge in January when the transfer window opens, but he is happy to see him getting games at West Brom.
"There's an option in January for us," Di Matteo confirmed.
"It's a one-year loan but we have a clause. He's had a good impact but we look forward to him starting a run of games and seeing him progress."
