Chelsea and Arsenal shut the door on potential Sneijder deal

Chelsea and Arsenal have both snubbed the chance to sign Wesley Sneijder.

And Inter Milan even made it clear they are willing to let him go on a free.

Sneijder, who cost the Italians a massive £24million when he signed from Real Madrid in 2009, want the midfielder, 28, off their wage bill.

Agents acting on Inter’s behalf have been contacting top Premier League clubs but none have shown any real interest in the Dutch star.

The big problem is Sneijder’s huge £200,000-a-week salary.
