Chelsea 2 Manchester City 1: Frank Lampard scores winner from penalty spot
Chelsea have ended Manchester City's unbeaten start to the Barclays Premier League season and hauled themselves back into the title race after winning 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Monday night. [LNB]Frank Lampard scored from the spot with eight minutes remaining to steal the spoils after the away side were forced to play the remaining 30 minutes without Gael Clichy, who was dismissed for a second bookable offence.[LNB]Mario Balotelli gave City the lead after rounding Chelsea stopper Petr Cech and scoring into an empty net after just two minutes.[LNB]Raul Meireles equalised for the hosts with 34 minutes gone before Lampard score the winner from the spot after Joleon Lescott handled in the area.
