Centre-back sent out on loan
Kalas is Dutch-bound Chelsea has offloaded reserve centre-half Tomas Kalas to Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem until the end of the season. The Czech defender was an impressive performer during pre-season for Chelsea's first team and last season played 10 games for the stiffs. The 18-year-old signed in 2010 from Sigma Olomouc and spent the first half of last season back there on loan.
