Cech wary of Del Piero threat

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is wary of the threat of Alessandro Del Piero ahead of their UEFA Champions League showdown with Juventus. The Premier League outfit go into Tuesday's second leg against the Old Lady with a 1-0 lead after Didier Drogba's strike at Stamford Bridge a fortnight ago. But Cech is not resting on his side's advantage against an Italian team full of star performers. And the Blues stopper has warned his team-mates that Juve's all-time leading goalscorer is the prime danger-man. Threat"You can learn about many things in football, but you cannot learn anything about him [Del Piero]," Cech said. "He is a player who knows how to cope with every possible situation on the pitch and every time he shows something unique. There is no pattern at all on how to prepare against him. "But overall we are prepared for the match, we know what to expect. Now it is only up to us what we can show on the pitch. "We have the advantage of leading 1-0, so we expect a tough game but believe that we will manage to make the best of the first leg goal difference and will go through." Cech, who also revealed Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has not been preparing his team for penalties, hailed his manager's effort since taking over last month. "If you keep winning, then, naturally, the team atmosphere changes," Cech said. "Some things have changed since his [Hiddink's] appointment, and so far it has worked well. We don't want to jinx it, but we have on a good run. Now we need to show that against Juventus." Cech expects his boss to deploy an offensive game plan on Tuesday adding: "We will see what the coach prepares. To try to draw a game is always tricky, it is better to go for a win, and that even if we know we won the first leg 1-0. "Naturally, it depends on how the game will develop. Anyway, we can not go into the game with the goal of going for a 0-0 draw. And I don't think that will happen, either."
