Petr Cech has backed Carlo Ancelotti to lead Chelsea out of a slump that has seen them plummet down the Barclays Premier League table. Blues boss Ancelotti has presided over the club's worst run since 1998 by securing just six points from eight games. And although it is understood his Chelsea future is under no immediate threat, and the club are satisfied Ancelotti is the right man to lead them back up the table, owner Roman Abramovich's patience is not without limit. Goalkeeper Cech believes the Italian manager is taking the situation in his stride as he prepares the team for Wednesday night's clash with Bolton at Stamford Bridge, which Chelsea go into having dropped to fifth in the league. "You have to ask him (how Ancelotti coping), but I think he's coping well. He's got lots of experience," Cech said. "There was a lot of pressure when he was manager of AC Milan. Last season there was a period where there was a lot of pressure here and yet we turned things around and won the double. We will try to do the same thing."
